HAPPY NEW YEAR

Yes, it’s true! Katy, Chloe and I ALL have ear infections at the same time! The last time Katy or I had an ear infection we were either around 13 or 14 years old. Now we both have it at the same time along with Chloe. We all have been place on antibiotics and seem to be responding well. I just got mine today and need this stuff to work FAST!! I almost forgot how painful this was . Well this is how we spent our New Years Eve and Day. In pain and at the Urgent Care.

How about you all?

Just to let you all know, i just dumped the entire web site. I had to too fix some lag issue with loading pages. The data base was backed up and was successfully re uploaded but a lot of the old pages and pictures are gone. I am working to get them all back so for now the site will look a little different and non functional. Bear with me for a few days and ill have it back up to where it should be. Thanks.

To show my holiday spirit I have set a Christmas theme for my site. I probably should have done this December 1st but hey, I was lazy. Merry Christmas everyone and have a happy, safe holiday!

This counts a being good right? Santa better not stiff me this year >:)

Here it is, my new computer!

You can see the part list from my previous post. This bad boy will last me a long time, hopefully :).
I actually saved about $550.00 by selling my old computer and monitor that went into buying parts for this one. The other money spent came from working on the side so really it was no money out of pocket. Woot! Over all it was fun to build. I had to learn a lot of new stuff as technology has changed a lot since i built my last one. The 22 inch monitor will take some getting use to though lol.

This will be one of the most uncoordinated and hectic Christmas for us. Well for everyone really. Katy, Chloe and I will be coming down to San Diego on the 22nd until the 26th. I think… Fly or Drive. Not sure yet. I have been ask what we want for Christmas so ill post some stuff here and will update it later with Katy’s stuff as well. I already got all the parts for my computer so don’t worry, i wont ask for that again .

These are just the representation of the parts i need. They don’t have to be the exact brand as shown but these are the lower priced ones i could find. OR everyone could just pool up some cash and ill take that

Well once again we had to take Chloe to the hospital but this time for a test. She has had a bladder infection for a few weeks now but it appears to be gone. The test was to see if there is anything wrong with her bladder or kidneys because of the severity of the infection.

First they took a ultrasound of her kidneys and bladder to get a good picture of the flow of blood and check the size. After that we took her down to Radiology to get x-rays of her pelvic area for an over all shot of the bladder with kidneys. They took one picture then inserted a catheter to put a dye into the bladder. That dye passes through without going to the kidneys and can be see during the x-ray process. They take multiple picture to see how the dye is going through the bladder and out the body. The dye was seen flowing back up into her kidneys which is bad. This means she has Vesicoureteral Reflux or kidney reflux.

Surgery is definitely a possibility but were hoping it was caught soon enough so it can be fixed with medication. I hope to get a call back from the doctor today on what the next step is. He had to refer the results to a specialist and get their opinion. Ill update when I hear more.

Well as im sure you all knew, we moved. Not far, just to another apartment in the same complex. We went from a 1 bedroom with den to a 2 bedroom 2 bath. Its more room for us over all and with Chloe we needed it. Were still in the process of un packing every thing (me lol). There is still a lot to move around and figure out where it will all go but its going fast. I wound up hurting my left leg and right arm during the move though. Its getting better but still sore. I feel like an old man…

Well thats about it for now. Tonight Katy and I will be going to a presentation about some new company. Yea I know… BUT we will get a free 26″ TV out of it. Maybe even a new car :). Not likely but what ever! I get a free TV. Ill just sell it though haha.

Yesterday I went through the process and upgraded the site from WordPress Version 2.2 to Version 2.3. The update does not effect you all very much but makes a few things easyer for me to manage the site. Some of the updates include

Native tagging support
update notification
search engine optimization

Please let me know if any part of the site is not working as it was before so I can try to fix it.
